Alex graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic) followed by an honours degree investigating the effects of hip abductor weakness on walking. Alex is a current PhD candidate where he is investigating the impact of a holistic, integrated international program to manage and help people with health concerns in Indonesia.

Alex is passionate on providing chiropractic care. With a keen interest in musculoskeletal care, his proactive approach will be beneficial for the community. In his spare time, Alex is a keen runner, likes to cook up a storm in the kitchen and keeping tabs on sport.

Brett graduated as a Chiropractor in 1995 and worked for many years in Glasgow, Scotland where he established a busy family based clinic. He returned to Australia and joined McMillan Chiropractic in 2014. Brett has extensive post graduate training and experience in clinical neurology, rehabilitation and wellness/lifestyle management, which has seen him study and work in Australia, Europe and the USA.

Robert Hughes graduated with a physiotherapy degree in 1981 from Lincoln Institute of Health Sciences, Melbourne. After working at Gippsland Base Hospital (Sale) for 5 years, most of his physiotherapy career has been in private practice in Sale and Bairnsdale, with special interest in spinal, sporting and work–related injuries. He has also worked as head of outpatient physiotherapy in Brunei where he was also physiotherapist for one of the prince’s soccer teams, as well as FIFO to remote health centres in East Arnhem and Groot Eylandt NT. More recently Robert has worked as a physiotherapist in aged care in Melbourne and Sale.

After taking 2 years off to help his son start up a floating entertainment business in Melbourne Robert is looking forward to returning to work as a physiotherapist at McMillan Chiropractic Centres. Robert grew up in Lakes Entrance and went to St. Pats College in Sale. He has lived most his life in the Gippsland region.

Robert married his wife Karen in 1984 and they have 3 children, Abbey (Byron Shire), Jake (Melbourne) and Elani (Melbourne). They also have 3 grandchildren (+ one on it’s way) living in the Byron Shire.

Erin completed her chiropractic degree in Melbourne in 2005 and eagerly returned home to Sale to work at McMillan Chiropractic Centre. She has a passion for seeing babies, children and pregnant women and draws on her experience as the mother of three children. Since graduating, Erin has undertaken extensive post-graduate studies in paediatrics, as well as becoming certified in a gentle approach to chiropractic care known as Sacro Occipital Technic. Her gentle, low force approach to chiropractic is well suited to children and elderly, as well as those seeking a gentle approach to care.

Outside of work, Erin loves coaching basketball and encouraging children to find confidence and enjoyment in sport. She also loves travelling and has previously travelled around Australia in her caravan with her family for a year. Emily graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne in 1998. She then moved to Perth, Scotland and after working as an associate for 2 years there and in Edinburgh, started her own Chiropractic practice in Edinburgh where she practiced for 5 years. Emily returned home to Sale and joined the McMillan Chiropractic team in 2006. She absolutely loves being a Chiropractor and has a keen interest in women’s health, children, babies and family health.
